About the Company

We're representing a high-growth technology business that has become a trusted commercial partner to automotive retailers across the UK.

Following significant expansion and continued investment, the business is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Director to take ownership of a portfolio of major automotive groups and lead the next phase of commercial growth.

The successful individual will operate as a senior commercial partner, influencing key stakeholders, shaping long-term strategy and identifying opportunities to deepen relationships, increase revenue and maximise customer value.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships across a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market automotive dealerships across the UK.

Success in this role will come from your ability to build credibility at board and executive level, understand complex organisational structures and position yourself as a trusted commercial advisor.

Working closely with internal stakeholders across sales, product and leadership teams, you'll develop account strategies that strengthen partnerships, improve retention and create new revenue streams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across large automotive groups.
• Developing long-term account plans focused on growth, retention and customer success.
• Leading commercial reviews and executive-level meetings.
• Identifying opportunities to increase product adoption and market penetration.
• Monitoring account performance and proactively managing commercial risk.
• Collaborating with new business teams to uncover expansion opportunities.

Your Background

You will likely have experience selling into the top automotive dealer groups across the country and be comfortable working in a scale up environment.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience managing and growing strategic customer relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and revenue-growth mindset.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and executive teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical capability and comfort using data to support decision-making.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing renewals.

If you're looking for a commercially strategic role where you can influence major customer relationships, drive measurable growth and join a business with significant momentum, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
