About the Company

The world is facing a metabolic health epidemic. Obesity is set to double in the next decade. Alzheimer’s, Type 2 diabetes, fatty liver and heart diseases are on the rise. Mental health issues are increasingly common. The food we eat (often packed full of carbs and sugar) is largely to blame.

About the Role

Administrative Duties:

Managing office supplies, equipment & maintenance
Maintaining office records, databases and filing systems (incl. OneDrive)
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
HR Support

Set up & onboarding schedule for new employees
Managing employee records, including attendance, leave and days in lieu
Coordinating employee training and development programs

Financial Management

Managing office expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness
Reconciling financial records
Facilities Management

Overseeing the maintenance of a tidy, clean workspace
Coordinating office repairs & maintenance
Managing relationship with building providers
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Communication & Coordination

Coordinating interdepartmental activities & projects
Providing administrative support to senior management as needed
Policy Implementation & Compliance

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures & regulations
Implementing new policies or procedures as directed by management
Monitoring & enforcing office policies related to security, confidentiality & code of conduct
Event Planning & Coordination

Planning & organising office events such as team building activities, team socials and conferences
Coordinating logistics, catering and other arrangements for meetings & events
Managing invitations, RSVPs and follow up communications

Problem Solving and Decision Making

Identifying issues or inefficiencies within the office and implementing solution
Making decisions on a day-to-day operational matters within the scope of authority
Escalating issues or concerns to management when necessary
