They have a tremendous product which is schools accredited and as a result is category leader loved by retailers and consumers. These guys still have masses of opportunity to grow across all channels and the supply chain has the capacity to service that growth.

We are hiring a Commercial Account Manager and commercial expert to develop and deliver on the strategy for the channel and support the brilliant team to continue their epic growth.

About the Role

This is a strategic & autonomous role in this dynamic and immensely successful SME.

We require a strategic retail expert to come in, own the strategy and continue to drive growth with key customers and drive business distribution growth and NPD in line with company objectives.



The growth will come from increasing distribution through the current product portfolio & incremental new listing wins with a hugely exciting NPD pipeline. The relationships are there to be nurtured with strong roots in place to develop further across the out of home retail channel.



You must have branded food or beverage experience and want the opportunity to have true autonomy & ownership of P&L and budgets. The team in place is fantastic with top class operators so working closely with your peers and cross functional teams with the robust coaching and training on offer is a vital part of this role.



You will be working as one of the senior leaders of the team and be responsible for a significant percentage of the business revenue so high commercial detail is a must for anyone coming in and you will be visible to the board on a weekly basis, exposure is high. The business is brilliantly set up for the modern world of remote working, so your attention to detail, reporting and willingness to drive growth and nurture current relationships at senior Buying level is going to be very important.

Your Background

National/Key Account experience in a branded FMCG businesses.
Wholesale/Convenience/High Street or Grocery channel experience.
Strong P&L understanding & management.
Able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering growth results in grocery.
A natural people person - Great communicator; internally, externally, multi-level & cross functional.
Honest and open, always put the customer at the heart of everything they do.
An engaging and collaborative style; Energetic, courageous, motivated, and driven to make a difference.
Extremely organised, great attention to detail and willing to work hard.
