About the Role

Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and growth, leveraging market insights and partner feedback.
Lead a team of Business Development Managers and Sales Executives, overseeing their efforts to ensure they consistently surpass targets across sales, retention and profitability.
Provide leadership to the sales team, defining clear goals and success metrics that align with the overarching company objectives.
Create a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with colleagues in other functional areas to deliver on shared goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
Establish and cultivate relationships up to the C-suite level with new and existing customers, leveraging these relationships to drive business growth and maximise opportunities.
Attend automotive industry events and panel discussions, representing the company effectively across the UK.

Your Background

A proven track record of leading commercial teams to consistently exceed goals, market expansion, and team performance improvement.
Experience of working in a matrix organisation with reporting to both operational and functional leadership is essential.
Demonstrated success in operating successful B2B partnerships at scale, with experience pitching to C-suite and senior individuals.
Experience translating financial goals into actionable sales team objectives, leveraging data and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Previous experience as a member of a leadership team creating and implementing commercial strategies.‍
