About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Auction Centre Manager to lead our clients vehicle remarketing site, based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sites financial performance, ensuring internal processes are adhered too, managing the internal team to ensure the business continues to delight their vendor partners.
-Supervise all staff members to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard
-Monitor and review all auction processes and procedures, ensuring that these are up to date and relevant
-Ensure that the auction centre is maintained in a clean and orderly manner
-Liaise with customers to ensure that their needs are met in a professional and timely manner
-Manage the site budget and ensure that the auction centre is operating within budget
-Monitor the auction centre performance and identify areas for improvement
-Ensure that safety and security procedures are adhered to
-Ensure that all vehicles are sold in a fair and transparent manner
Implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction
-Manage and coordinate all marketing activities
-Develop relationships with key stakeholders
Proven experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within the vehicle remarketing or automotive industry
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Good understanding of budgets and finance
Ability to identify and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction
Ability to manage and motivate staff
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
High level of attention to detail
