A top employer in Consumer Products sector are hiring for a Marketing Director for the UK. This is a business that have exploded in the last 2 years with multi-million-pound growth across all channels c.30% YOY uplifts. The Role Marketing Director role reporting to the UK GM and SVP International covering the UK & IRE. There is a distinct possibility that, as the structure of the business matures this will become a significantly more senior role in the next 2-3 years. We require a commercial marketing leader tasked to continue to grow this business exponentially on a UK & European basis. You have full control of budgeting, partnerships and own the relationships with the creative teams to maximise ROI. Activation is key in brand building so no ivory towers here. This is about being able to do the doing, as well as being the strategic lead and partner with retail to continue the fab work the team have done. ABL budgets are healthy and the plans, at present, are some of the most innovative we have seen. This is a business investing heavily to deliver engaging media and marketing to the masses and outdo their rivals in the category. The Role The Licensing Team is responsible for helping shape & deliver the strategy. Working with the leading IP owners around the world to grow revenues for the company and their Partners. The Inbound Licensing Manager LATAM APAC will be the keeper of all data from the business in the region, providing regular updates on their brand’s business. In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring local sales and marketing teams have the latest brand information from the Licensor in order to achieve their fantastic results. What you will do Work with the team across product development, ensure Licensor’s regional needs/requests and feedback are collated within timeframes required Work closely with local offices and relevant Brand Managers to execute a plan, in line with the licensor SLAs Support the local markets with Licensor sharing regional franchise strategies and updates with the international teams Be the day to day contact for Licensor’s regional teams Coordinate communication and formal updates both internally and externally with the Licensor. Be the central location and keeper of all brand information by market, including; product range, marketing plans, retail listings. Provide regular POS reports This role will also support the local distributor and 3rd party sales team Co-ordinate present detailed quarterly business review meetings with key licensors & SLT. About you As the Inbound Licensing Manager, LATAM APAC your reporting line is directly to the Senior Inbound Licensing Director for International markets so exposure is high with this role!
